From plantain coconut pot bake to provision medley… the cooks at MAAFE, DIQUD’s Emancipation cooking competition did not disappoint and the judges had a harder task this year, deciding on the culinary delights and the hand behind these good creole breakfasts, In the end, the East took the title. As the name suggests, Goldsborough Mechanical reigned supreme, followed closely by, Speyside District. Main Building were not edged out, this team placing third. Overall, the staff couldn’t discriminate, from tent to tent, we all celebrated the harvest together.
